Lion is a high-performance DPU for spacecraft between 50 and 500 kg, featuring a Kintex UltraScale FPGA with an external supervisor for error handling, in-flight reprogramming, and uninterrupted operation. It is designed to process multi-dimensional and multi-sensor data in orbit. Lion supports challenging activities, allowing, for example, close proximity operations for active debris removal or in-orbit servicing.
